Purple Plumbing is a company that is founded on providing quality and innovative products for the customer. The principal Brett Dickinson has over 35 years experience in the industry having first completed his plumbers, drainers and gasfitters licence with one of Sydney's leading plumbing companies in the early 1970's, Hodgson & Lee.
His experience with operating successful plumbing businesses goes back to his first startup plumbing business "Brett Plumbing". After a few short years "Brett Plumbing became the leading plumber on the Upper North Shore of Sydney providing second to none service for all plumbing maintenance and blocked drains. Needing a change and to spend more time with his family Brett sold his company to another large plumbing organisation "Jones & Jones" who continued to operate "Brett Plumbing" for many years before amalgamating with other organisations.
After a few years out of the industry the lure of the plumbing industry caused Brett to return and form the company "Purple Plumbing.
With his vast business and plumbing experience he set out to change the perception of the "expensive plumber" syndrome and implement some industry changing practices. The initial one, was to offer a warranty on "blocked drain clearances". The leaseback from some of Sydney's plumbers was shock to say the least. "Must be a con" was the general feedback. As it stands today, most plumbers now offer a warranty on blocked drain clearances. How genuine the oppositions "warranties" are, is something of a grey area.
Another innovative product that was introduced, was the "TRIP" (Tree Root Inhibitor Program). Like a form of insurance, Purple Plumbing take over the worry of constant block drains. With a regular maintenance program that is based on a monthly fee, we guarantee to keep your drain clear of any root blockages whilst you are part of the program. The feedback from our clients that have taken this option are fantastic to say the least.
Whilst Brett is busy maintaining and running the business, he still has some more industry changing ideas up his sleeve.
